Wowee!! We’re in the thick of this wedding-season boom, I’ve been out here shooting, styling and traveling in this humid heat that Kitsap’s been having and lemme tell ya, this mop is dryer than a dog biscuit and giving major Einstein vibes on a fairly regular basis.

Bassu shampoo/conditioner- the best place to start hydrating is in the shower 🚿 *cool tip- Keep your water to a lukewarm/cool temperature when rinsing your hair. This helps the cuticle stay more closed, which locks in moisture & keeps your hair shinier and healthier. Rinsing your locks in hot water is a sure way to fade your color faster and dry your hair out. 

Bassu Hydrating mask- Use once a week as a rinse-able mask or run a small amount through towel dried hair after your shower/bath/swim as a super hydrating leave-in treatment  

Bassu Shine spray- use it any way you like! This light-weight spray-in oil can be used as a detangler in wet hair, a shine spray to add life to dull looking multi-day blowouts (Try it paired with Surface Blowout Dry shampoo for an ultimate 3,4,5-day refresher) OR you can use it as a makeup setting spray for that #dewydumplin look 

Bassu oil or Bassu oil gold- I put this shit on everything. Really! I could probably write a whole post about all the ways I drench myself in bassu oil. I LOVE a multi-use product. So efficient!

Bassu Oil is a highly concentrated, uber-lightweight serum that can be liberally used on hair, scalp, and/or skin to moisturize and heal without looking greasy/clogging pores.

*Hot tip- Bassu gold for courser hair types makes a most excellent, fully-absorbent beard oil for the bearded folks 🥸

Bassu Moisture Mist- a moisture packed, free-radical fighting, non-aerosol mist that’s totally perfect for throwing in your beach bag. Spritz this on before you get in the pool, after you hop out of the surf or on a sunburn. This one’s also great for re-wetting a scrunched look without adding any crunch to the equation.

All in all, Bassu is where it’s at for your moisturizing needs this summer and it’s versatile enough that it will take care of you  you right into the cold, winter snaps if you want it to.
