PUPdate!

Just checking in with a little Pupdate! I am not sorry about that intended pun either.

These puppers man… they continue to snarfle poo snacks off the ground at this apartment complex like they’ve discovered some kind of exotic dung buffet. It’s disgusting and annoying and it makes me turn into the crazy lady out back yelling at the dogs in her bathrobe.

So anyways, right now i’m cooking all of their meals (speaking of which there’s a diva staring me down for turkey and rice as we speak). I’m trying to go back to our puppy-training roots and use treats to encourage better behaviors, researching muzzles for unauthorized-snack prevention and we’re looking for a more comfortable, permanent living situation so I can stop yelling at my dogs to “DROP IT” and having a nervous breakdown every time we go outside. For now, i’m practicing patience and gratitude that they’re alive after their last serious encounter with eating shit off the ground-itus (professionally known as Gastroenteritus).

I’ll be back with some serious advice on what we’ve tried, the medical “help” we’ve received and how we’ve been managing the scary symptoms they’ve been having, just as soon as I have some!
