What’s she up to now?

I keep it real when it comes to social media. I do my best to show up authentically in life as well as in my social media feeds but the real talk is that I don’t want EVERYTHING just out there for anyone to see. My social media pages are the face of my brand and while I do keep it pretty dang real, I’m not just going to be sharing everything I have to offer there. Certain things, I only want to make available for people who actually care to dig a little deeper. If you’re here, that’s probably you! Real Talk Blog is a space for me to share the raw, real, ugly truth about what goes on behind the scenes in the beauty industry. It’s life from my perspective as a salon owner, creative and generally passionate human being in Kitsap County. 

I’m aware that there’s some confusion about a little recent announcement I made. People have been asking a lot of questions about what i’ll be doing with my time now that I won’t be standing behind the chair and the truth is i’m kind of still sorting it out. I know I won't be bored! I have a lot of plans and ideas that have been tabled, waiting for me to get back to them when I had more time. I’ll be blogging, handling behind the scenes salon biz, revisiting some of those ideas and (as anyone that has ever met me knows) i’m always coming up with new ones. I have a couple more blog series’ in the works already. One will be for sharing my favorite products and professional beauty tips and tricks that you can use at home, the other will be a portfolio to showcase my boudoir work 💗.

I’m fumbling through life, balancing entrepreneurship and hard work with my dogmom life, personal relationships and creative endeavors. Somewhere in there i’m also learning how to find the time to tend to my own mental and physical well-being. Everything that’s happened so far on this wild ride through the weirdest year ever has taught me something. I’ll be here sharing beauty, life, love and logic.
